Career Guidance Session Enlightens Young Minds at Prism Public School

On 24th April 2025, Prism Public School took a significant step toward shaping the future of its students by organizing a Career Guidance Session for the learners of Classes 6th to 8th. Conducted by a team of experienced career experts, the session spanned three insightful hours, focusing on helping students understand themselves and their future aspirations better.

The session was thoughtfully designed to introduce students to the concept of career planning at an early age. The highlight of the day was a specially curated career assessment questionnaire, which helped students reflect on their interests, strengths, and personal preferences. The questionnaire served as a powerful tool for self-discovery, guiding students toward identifying suitable career options based on their personalities and talents.

Key objectives of the session included:

• Encouraging students to explore different career paths

• Helping them identify personal strengths and areas of interest

• Promoting early awareness about goal-setting and planning

• Introducing the concept of career clusters and future-ready skills

The expert team led students through engaging discussions, interactive activities, and real-life career stories, creating an open environment where students felt confident to share their thoughts and dreams. Students were excited to learn about not just traditional professions, but also emerging fields in science, technology, arts, and entrepreneurship.

Teachers and facilitators noted a marked enthusiasm among the students. Many discovered new areas of interest and expressed a desire to learn more about various fields they hadn’t considered before.

Speaking about the session, the Director Mrs. Khyati Sahu said,
“Career guidance at this stage is not about choosing a specific job, but about helping students know themselves better. This session was a valuable experience that encouraged our students to think ahead and believe in their potential.”

24 अप्रैल 2025 को, प्रिज्म पब्लिक स्कूल ने कक्षा 6वीं से 8वीं तक के विद्यार्थियों के लिए करियर मार्गदर्शन सत्र आयोजित करके अपने विद्यार्थियों के भविष्य को आकार देने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाया। अनुभवी करियर विशेषज्ञों की एक टीम द्वारा संचालित, सत्र तीन घंटे तक चला, जिसमें विद्यार्थियों को खुद को और अपने भविष्य की आकांक्षाओं को बेहतर ढंग से समझने में मदद करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया।

यह सत्र विद्यार्थियों को कम उम्र में ही करियर प्लानिंग की अवधारणा से परिचित कराने के लिए सोच-समझकर तैयार किया गया था। दिन का मुख्य आकर्षण एक विशेष रूप से तैयार किया गया करियर मूल्यांकन प्रश्नावली था, जिसने विद्यार्थियों को उनकी रुचियों, शक्तियों और व्यक्तिगत प्राथमिकताओं पर विचार करने में मदद की। प्रश्नावली ने आत्म-खोज के लिए एक शक्तिशाली उपकरण के रूप में कार्य किया, जिसने विद्यार्थियों को उनके व्यक्तित्व और प्रतिभा के आधार पर उपयुक्त करियर विकल्पों की पहचान करने की दिशा में मार्गदर्शन किया। सत्र के मुख्य उद्देश्य निम्नलिखित थे:

• छात्रों को अलग-अलग करियर पथ तलाशने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना

• उनकी व्यक्तिगत ताकत और रुचि के क्षेत्रों की पहचान करने में मदद करना

• लक्ष्य-निर्धारण और योजना के बारे में शुरुआती जागरूकता को बढ़ावा देना

• करियर क्लस्टर और भविष्य के लिए तैयार कौशल की अवधारणा का परिचय देना

विशेषज्ञ टीम ने छात्रों को आकर्षक चर्चाओं, संवादात्मक गतिविधियों और वास्तविक जीवन की करियर कहानियों के माध्यम से आगे बढ़ाया, जिससे एक खुला वातावरण बना जहाँ छात्र अपने विचारों और सपनों को साझा करने में आत्मविश्वास महसूस किए । छात्र न केवल पारंपरिक व्यवसायों के बारे में जानने के लिए उत्साहित थे, बल्कि विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी, कला और उद्यमिता के उभरते क्षेत्रों के बारे में भी जानने के लिए उत्साहित थे।

शिक्षकों और प्रशिक्षकों ने छात्रों के बीच उल्लेखनीय उत्साह देखा। कई ने रुचि के नए क्षेत्रों की खोज की और विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के बारे में अधिक जानने की इच्छा व्यक्त की, जिनके बारे में उन्होंने पहले नहीं सोचा था।

सत्र के बारे में बोलते हुए, निदेशक श्रीमती ख्याति साहू ने कहा, “इस स्तर पर करियर मार्गदर्शन एक विशिष्ट नौकरी चुनने के बारे में नहीं है, बल्कि छात्रों को खुद को बेहतर तरीके से जानने में मदद करने के बारे में है। यह सत्र एक मूल्यवान अनुभव था जिसने हमारे छात्रों को आगे की सोचने और अपनी क्षमता पर विश्वास करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।”
